About your mentors
MiniMe Mindfulness - Staffordshire and Derbyshire
Positive mindfulness & mindset superpowers.
In today’s fast-paced world of distraction, technology and comparison, it is vitally important that we help children to create and maintain a healthy mind. So many children have been negatively impacted by the global pandemic and have navigated loss of human interaction, home schooling and resulting challenges. Thoughts control our actions, which can determine our success and happiness. What can we do to make sure children are happy, grateful, confident, intentional with their actions, excited about the future and able to understand and communicate feelings and emotions? Positive mindfulness and mindset could be part of the solution. Mindfulness is commonly viewed as a way to fix a physiological discomfort or difficulty such as stress, anxiety or pain. There are many fabulous mindfulness programmes that serve in this area, such as, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Our approach is different. We teach positive mindfulness techniques, not focussing on ‘fixing’ children but helping EVERY child flourish. We invite all children to onboard positive mindfulness and mindset ‘superpowers’ to feel more love, happiness, resilience, internal calm, focus and confidence.
