A summary
Media and Music Production Activities The Vanny Radio Media and Music Production Project uses radio broadcasting and hands-on media training to engage children and young people during the school holidays in a fun, creative, and safe environment. Through exciting activities such as presenting, music selection, recording, and content creation, young people learn the basics of radio and media production while building confidence and expressing themselves. Sessions are designed to be interactive and enjoyable, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and teamwork. Alongside technical broadcasting skills, participants develop valuable life skills, including communication, collaboration, listening, and self-confidence. Working together on shared projects helps young people form positive relationships and feel part of a team. All activities take place in a safe, supportive environment, with children and young people supervised and supported by trained, dedicated volunteers who prioritise wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusion. The project offers a positive holiday experience that combines learning, creativity,y and fun, while helping young people grow in confidence and skill.
