Mains: Adults' Kitchen Italian

Kitchen Italian is a new way to learn a language. I have combined my experience in teaching Italian with my love and skills in the kitchen to create a very entertaining way to learn. During these classes you will be immersed in Italian culture: the food, the music, art and literature. You will learn Italian organically, in a non academic way. I provide all the material and food needed, plus snacks, tea and wine; just bring a pen and an apron! You get 3 hours of cookery and language teaching, plus a new recipe and a delicious lunch!
The class is open to all adult Italian language learners; to young and old, men and women (of course!). Everybody will learn at his or her own pace; beginners will hear the sounds of the language, and will learn the basic words for the dishes of the day, while those with a bit more exposure will be able to practise simple sentences and learn Italian vocabulary for foods, cooking and kitchen equipment. More advanced learners will be able to chatter away to me in Italian all the way through!

Learn all this while cooking together a special dish which we then eat. The dishes are usually vegetarian but we have also cooked meat and fish when the circumstances allowed it. I try to find recipes that span from the deep south to the uppermost mountain ranges of Italy, to give you a wide idea and taste of the fabulous and varied Italian cuisine.
