What we'll do

Join us on Tuesdays 10 - 11am with your little one(s) and let's enjoy nature in our local park together! We will meet each week at the main car park. There will be a different theme and route around the park each week led by your guide, Chloe. Here is what happens on each walk: 1. We will begin with a song all about what we might see on the park and discuss the walk rules and theme. 2. We will play games along the way and stop at places of interest to explore and learn together. 3. The walk will be concluded with a reflection time together and bubbles! *We will not be heading to the playground but you will be able to go after our session if you wish. All routes will divert away from the play area.*

Learning through nature exploration

Little Park Rangers is a nature walk for pre school children and their carers that encourages curiosity, community and play with nature in their local park. Hello, My Name is Chloe and I am the founder of Little Park Rangers. I am a Mum of 2 energetic boys. I am a qualified Primary and Early Years Teacher with a Level 3 Forest School qualification. The aim of Little Park Rangers is to: Get pre school children and their carers outside to visit the park (not just the playground) Explore and learn about natural wonders Connect with others in their community Encourage curiosity and exploration of nature through play I look forward to meeting you and exploring the park. Let's explore and learn together!

Terms and Conditions

Parents/Guardians are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their children. Little Park Rangers cannot except any responsibility for the safety and behaviour of participants. Do not leave your child unattended at any time. You will be asked to leave by the nature walk guide if behaviour is unacceptable. We will be walking in a natural environment therefore at times the ground may be uneven and there will be risks that have been assessed by the nature walk guide. Come prepared for all weathers and bring appropriate clothing and footwear. You can take photos during the walk but do not include other children without consent from their responsible adult. In the event of a cancellation, you will be contacted via email or text. At the time of booking, please declare any medical conditions or allergies. Learning aims

Aim 1

Getting Pre School Children to experience more green and less screen! Too many children spend far too long from an early age staring at a screen. Little Park Rangers is all about educating children about the world around them through real experiences in the park.

Aim 3

Develop knowledge of the natural world by labelling nature around them and experience natural wonders e.g. seasonal changes

Aim 2

Allow children the time and space to connect with nature through play

Aim 4

Communicating with others: children interacting with other children and parents/carers making connections too. Little Park Rangers aims to create a group participants can belong to and learn more about the park and the natural world.
