What we'll do
Little Leaps – Using Nature to Nurture our youngest explorers. Little Leaps is our gentle, nature-based woodland session designed especially for children aged 0–5 and their caregivers. Set within a safe and welcoming outdoor environment, sessions provide a calm space where young children can explore, play, and grow at their own pace. Activities include child-led woodland play, storytelling, sensory exploration, simple bushcraft experiences, and seasonal nature crafts. These experiences support early communication, confidence, physical development, social skills, and emotional wellbeing, while helping children build a strong connection with the natural world. Sessions are relaxed, inclusive, and welcoming to all families, including those who may benefit from a quieter or more supportive environment. Our experienced practitioners understand early years development and create a nurturing atmosphere where children and adults alike can feel comfortable, supported, and inspired by nature.

What you'll need
Participants should come prepared for a fully outdoor session, as Little Leaps takes place in a woodland environment and operates all year round in all weathers. Children should wear weather-appropriate clothing that they can get messy in, including sturdy footwear (wellies or walking boots), waterproof coat and trousers, and warm layers during colder months. In warmer weather, please ensure sun hats and sun cream are provided. We also recommend bringing a named water bottle and a small backpack to keep personal items safe and dry during the session.
