What we'll do
When you arrive (11.30am) it is straight in to the Lego workshop. The team from PrepareRobo join us today to deliver a Lego workshop, which is fully hands-on — children will work together in groups of 3 or 4 to build their own LEGO robots and then use simple coding (block-based) to control them. Activities may include things like obstacle-avoiding vehicles, races, or robot battles. After the workshop, we will have lunch, (approx 1.30pm) which will be jacket potatoes, with a selection of fillings and side salad, followed by a fruit salad for desert. After lunch we have a giant box of mixed Lego for Lego based free build/play time, we will also have some Lego activity sheets for those who would prefer it. Session finish time 3:30pm
