What we'll do
Our Pony Days are fun packed and filled with activities including riding, vaulting, stable management and so much more for anyone over the age of 8 years. We offer Pony Days from 10am to 3pm, lunch is included as well as a ride in the morning and a session on the horse in the afternoon. A healthy lunch is provided and all kids go home with a rosette. Participants have the opportunity to have a lesson or weather permitting go out on a ride in our beautiful countryside. They also might have an opportunity for a short taster session with our well trained vaulting horses.

Lads Lodge is a small, family owned Riding Centre in Cumbria, based near Carlisle. With over 30 years of experience, we pride ourselves in providing a professional and friendly service for clients of all ages.
Timetable
Arrival 10am- Intro, health and safety talk 10:30 to 12:30 Children will be put into smaller groups and start the activities Activities : Horse riding, stable management, vaulting Each activity will last 40 min and they will swap around, so everyone has a chance at each activity. 12:30 Lunch and chat about healthy eating and exercise in relationship to participate in sports, eg horse riding/vaulting 13:30 Horse related activities, this might be a tack and turn out competition, games on horseback or a ride out 14:30 A chat to wrap up the day and a chance for parents to ask questions, handing out of rosettes and paper files with info Please wear comfortable and weather appropriate clothes, boots with a little heel and bring trainers too.
