What we'll do
Our summer holiday playscheme offers a fun, varied and creative experience for children, with engaging daily activities designed to keep them happy, active and learning during the holidays. Each week has a different craft theme, ranging from underwater adventures and fantasy worlds to zoo animals, nature, and knights & princesses. Children will enjoy making dream catchers, fairy houses, beach scenes, origami creations, animal masks, shields, and more. Craft sessions encourage creativity, fine motor skills and imaginative play. Alongside crafts, we offer daily baking sessions where children can make and taste a delicious variety of sweet and savoury treats such as pitta pizzas, cheese twists, jam tarts, flapjacks, fairy cakes, and chocolate chip muffins. These hands-on kitchen activities are always a favourite. Active play is a key part of the scheme. Every week includes outdoor water play, group games with parachutes, and regular access to bouncy castles (on selected days). Karaoke sessions bring out the inner pop star, while Forest School and Pond Dipping activities offer time to explore the natural world in a safe, supported way. We also include a mix of special workshops and trips (subject to additional charges), such as animal encounters, lino printing, magnet making, T-shirt design, and local outings. These enrich the programme with hands-on experiences and exciting memories. All activities are run by experienced play leaders who create a supportive, friendly and inclusive environment for all children. Whether your child loves crafting, baking, playing outside or exploring new things, our playscheme offers something for everyone.
