Joyful Music Tots block mentored by Hope Church East Cleveland
What we'll do
On arrival you will be shown into the activity room. The sessions run from 9am till 10am. The first 45 minutes are a music session, followed by drinks and snacks in the cafe area, these are included. The session is for 0-4s with their adult, please ensure you book in for both the children and adults. The session will be led by Riffing Tots, lead by Helena who has experience in running sessions for 0-4s. The sessions will be interactive throughout. These sessions are possible thanks to funding from the Woodsmiths Foundation, they are open to all families in the Redcar and Cleveland area, along with any in the Scarborough Borough Council area. If you are unsure please ask. We are asking for £1 per session towards the costs of putting on these sessions, this will be payable in a block booking.

Pioneer Pastor
I am the Pioneer pastor for Hope Church, a lively Methodist Church based in Loftus. I am also a secondary school teacher, with 25 years experience, of teaching a range of humanities subjects including Geography and RE. In my spare time, I am a qualified netball coach and coach nearby Grangetown Netball Club in their under 16s and under 19s sections. I have been a Guide leader for almost 30 years, and have a range of experience from this in the outdoors, learning new skills and camping and more. I love seeing children and young people learn new skills, feel supported, at home, and loving the activities we put on. I enjoy demonstrating the love of Christ in what I do, and sharing my faith. I can't wait to be part of these events, and have the joy of leading a great team delivering high quality activities to local children and young people.

About Riffing Tots
Riffing Tots is a high-quality, engaging musical programme for children aged 0–4 and their parents/carers. Riffing Tots is one of the regular activities offered by the company Riffs Hooks and Lines, a limited company set up in 2024 whose mission is the cultivate talent, share performance experience, and inspire the community. Our Riffing Tots sessions are designed to foster early development in a fun, supportive, and social environment. Helena, one of our directors who leads the sessions, is a fully qualified, DBS checked music teacher with over 10 years of experience in education.
