A summary
At Jam Coding, we run fun and inspiring holiday clubs across Worcestershire and Herefordshire, blending digital creativity with hands-on activities to create an unforgettable experience for children. Activity Description: Our holiday clubs offer an exciting mix of coding, animation, and digital design, alongside engaging offline activities such as crafts, sports, and puzzles. Every activity, whether online or offline, is designed with an underlying theme of healthy living, encouraging children to develop both their digital and physical skills. Mon 29 Dec 2025 09:00 – 13:00 Minecraft Education: Winter Wonderland! Children will learn how to code inside Minecraft Education to build their very own Winter Wonderland. From programming snow globes and frosty trees to designing snowy cabins and festive decorations, this hands-on session is the perfect blend of fun and learning. Our friendly Jam Coding coaches will guide your child through each step, helping them to think like coders, work together, and bring their ideas to life. Tue 30 Dec 2025 09:00 – 13:00 Escape the Grinch: Game Coding Challenge! Children will learn how to build a game with MakeCode Arcade! Where players must outsmart the Grinch, collect gifts, and save Christmas. Using block-based coding, they’ll design characters, create wintry worlds, and add challenges, power-ups, and sound effects, all while learning real coding skills in a fun, creative way. We’ve carefully structured our timetable to ensure a balanced 50/50 split between screen-based learning and hands-on creative play, giving children the best of both worlds in a safe, engaging, and enriching environment.
