Island Riding Centre - HAF with Horses

Island Riding Centre

A summary
A fun packed four hour session of horse riding and related activities proven to engage young people, especially those with SEN or on the autism spectrum.
The activities are physical and predominantly outdoors, promoting a healthy lifestyle and well-being. Our craft and learning sessions are very popular, engaging the children in a fun way of learning about horses and horse care.
Sessions also include physical games such as hobby horse racing as well as nature walks and playground time.
Part of the daily activity is feeding the variety of onsite animals where children learn about the impacts of diet on energy and strength.
Snack time is fruit and healthy biscuit options whilst all hot lunchtime meals are freshly prepared in our onsite restaurant.
