A summary
Do you suffer from a long term health condition that has decreased your mobility? Do you want to increase your strength and mobility in a safe and relaxing environment? Then why not book onto our new introduction to yoga course. This new 6 week course will provide you with an introduction to Yoga to help manage the symptoms of your long term health condition. The course will run every Tuesday for 6 weeks from Tuesday 28th March at West St Leonards Community Centre, 130 Bexhill Road, St Leonards on Sea, TN38 8BL. Becca from Straight Up Yoga will lead this new Yoga course. All equipment is provided. This course is for adults aged 18+ Booking is essential for the 6 weeks course and costs £18. Sport and play sessions for everyone!
Active Hastings is a partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 30 minutes a day for adults and 60 a day for children to get fitter, healthier and happier. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches and play workers, who are passionate about working with people of all ages in Hastings and St Leonards. We run free or low cost sessions throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food programme.

Hi, I'm Becca, and I'm a RYT200 and Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs (YHLB-R) registered teacher. Straight Up Yoga is designed to help correct your posture, protect your joints and reduce back pain so that more people can enjoy the amazing benefits of yoga and feel better: straight up!
