What we'll do
Intrepid Ventures is a hub of activity and draws on skills that are not always a priority for development in school. Our activities are thought provoking, enjoyable and educational. Children and parents often comment on the confidence gained from attending holiday camps. As well as character building, it encourages independence, self belief, and the ability to socialise alongside differing age and friendship groups. Our activities include Archery, Fire lighting, Raft building, Team Building games, Tag Archery, Camp cooking, Fish preparation demonstration, Water balloon wars, Ultimate frisby, giant catapults, and STEM games.

Where Adventure is the norm!
Intrepid Ventures is an Ofsted registered bushcraft and outdoor activities company like no other. We offer a vast array of activities based around outdoor learning and look to promote the amazing experiences that can be had in the outdoors. First Aid courses, Birthday parties and children’s holiday clubs are our specialty. We are based in Leigh On Sea at Leigh North Street Primary School. We also organise external events in Essex and run several summer school camps at local secondary schools. Our camp leaders, predominantly comprised of fully qualified PE / Geography teachers & Mountain Leaders ensure the best delivery for your child’s experience.

Learning aims
Aim 1
Enjoy making friendships and feel better about socialising with other individuals and groups. Learn to communicate and share ideas, particularly with problem solving.
Aim 2
Persevering regardless of whether they are doing well and building on their resilience to cope with different situations. This includes being a 'good' winner and runner up.
