InPower Academy CIC will deliver our first Warriors World HAF programme in Cannock, providing a safe, inclusive and structured environment where children can stay active, make friends and build confidence during the school holidays. Activities will include martial arts sessions such as Boxercise and Muay Thai, alongside less traditional experiences including sumo wrestling and fencing, helping young people develop discipline, coordination and self-belief. Participants will also enjoy supervised gaming sessions using Xbox, Nintendo Switch and VR technology, alongside creative activities such as Lego building, arts and crafts, problem-solving challenges and team games. Each day will include physical activity, creativity and wellbeing elements, with nutritious meals provided to support healthy lifestyles and positive holiday experiences.

1. Who is the programme for? The Warriors World HAF programme is for school-aged children eligible for HAF funding in Cannock. The sessions are suitable for all ability levels, and no previous experience in sport or martial arts is required. 2. What activities will my child take part in? Children will enjoy a variety of activities including Boxercise, Muay Thai, fencing and sumo wrestling, as well as gaming sessions using Xbox, Nintendo Switch and VR. There will also be creative sessions such as Lego building, arts and crafts, and team challenges. 3. Is the programme safe? Yes. All sessions are delivered by experienced, DBS-checked staff in a safe and structured environment. Activities are designed to be inclusive, age-appropriate and supervised at all times. 4. Will food be provided? Yes. A nutritious meal will be provided each day along with healthy snacks and drinks. We can cater for most dietary requirements and allergies if these are provided at registration. 5. What should my child bring? Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity and bring a water bottle. All equipment and materials for activities will be provided by InPower Academy.
Learning aims
Aim 1
They will learn basic martial arts skills and techniques, improving coordination, balance and confidence while understanding the importance of respect and self-discipline.
Aim 3
Participants will leave with greater confidence, new friendships and increased motivation to stay active and engaged in positive activities.

Children will develop social and communication skills through group activities, as well as improve creativity and problem-solving through arts, Lego and structured play
Aim 4
By the end of the Warriors World HAF programme, participants will have developed a better understanding of healthy lifestyles, teamwork and personal wellbeing.
