What we'll do
We know how hard it can be to find somewhere you can go as a family when your child has additional needs. That's why Incredible Kids exists; to give you a place where you're welcome, accepted and understood. These sessions are for your whole family. Come and have fun, enjoy a hot meal together, and spend time alongside other families who get it. We're a Bristol charity running free Friday evening sessions for young people aged 0 to 25 with additional needs, disabilities or SEND, and their whole families. You don't need a formal diagnosis to come. Siblings, parents and carers are all welcome and fully supported. The session runs at The Vench, an adventure playground in Lockleaze with a big outdoor play area, sensory room, crafting spaces and quiet corners. Halfway through the evening we all sit down together for a hot meal in the cafe, included for the whole family. Our playworkers are there throughout to help everyone join in at their own pace, whatever that looks like on the day. What's on offer: We have something for everyone at Incredible Kids. Places to swing, places to climb, a zip wire, a sunken trampoline, engaging play trays, art actvities, playdoh, lego, a giant sandpit, football. Each session is slightly different and we try to create interesting activities each week, tailored to different ages and different needs. Tea, coffee and snacks for carers throughout the evening A hot family meal served midway through This session is for families with SEND or additional needs so we can make sure the support is right. It's not a general drop-in, and that's intentional. Times: 3:45pm to 7:45pm Where: The Vench, Romney Avenue, Lockleaze, Bristol BS7 9TB Supervision: Parents and carers stay and supervise throughout Find out more, watch a short video and download our welcome pack at incrediblekids.org.uk/our-sessions

Food
Hot Family Meal Included We provide a nutritious hot meal halfway through the session (around 5:30pm–6:00pm), served in our cafe area for the whole family – it's a lovely chance to sit together and recharge! On most Fridays, we offer: Two main choices: One meat-based option and one vegan option (both balanced and compliant with healthy eating guidelines). A pudding/dessert to finish. We aim to make the meal enjoyable and suitable for as many people as possible, including young people with additional needs who may have sensory preferences around food. Important notes on diets and allergies: We can accommodate common dietary preferences like vegetarian/vegan where possible (via the options above). For allergies or intolerances (e.g., nuts, dairy, gluten), please let us know in advance during booking – we'll do our best to manage these safely in line with food safety guidelines and allergy advice for group settings. However, due to our small team and kitchen setup, we are unable to cater for very specific or complex diets (e.g., multiple combined restrictions, medical diets requiring specialist preparation, or rare allergies). If your family has highly specific requirements we recommend checking with us first. All food follows UK school food standards for healthy, balanced provision, and we prioritize safe preparation and clear information about ingredients. If you have any questions about the menu on a particular day or need to discuss your family's needs, feel free to contact us when booking – we're here to help make the evening as enjoyable as possible for everyone!

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
