A summary
We know how hard it can be to find somewhere you can go as a family when your child has additional needs. That's why Incredible Kids exists; to give you a place where you're welcome, accepted and understood. These sessions are for your whole family. Come and explore, have an adventure, eat lunch together and spend time alongside other families who get it. At one of our recent sessions a parent spent the whole session sitting by the stream with their child in our wooded area. They told us afterwards they'd never been able to do that before. That's what we're here for. We're a Bristol charity running free Monday sessions for young people aged 0 to 25 with additional needs, disabilities or SEND, and their whole families. You don't need a formal diagnosis to come. Siblings, parents and carers are all welcome and fully supported. The Ranch is an adventure playground in Southmead with a big outdoor play area, wooded area with a stream, crafting spaces and quiet corners. Midway through the session we all sit down together for a packed lunch, included for the whole family. Our playworkers are there throughout to help everyone join in at their own pace, whatever that looks like on the day. What's on offer: Swings, climbing, trampolining and a huge adventure playground Woods, stream and outdoor exploration Crafts, pool table and space to chill Drinks and healthy snacks throughout for the whole family A packed lunch served midway through This session is prioritised for families with SEND or additional needs so we can make sure the support is right. It's not a general drop-in, and that's intentional. Times: 10:30am to 2:30pm, free to attend Where: The Ranch, Doncaster Road, Southmead, Bristol BS10 5PP Supervision: Parents and carers stay and supervise throughout. The Ranch is packed with adventures but it does require close parent-carer supervision so please come prepared to play!
