A summary
*For current Year 6s - Years 9s* Each session offers an exciting featured activity — from creating a Spanish restaurant here at The Hub to the Pounds and Bounds game show and a day of circus skills (see below for dates). But that’s not all... Your young person can dive into a variety of engaging experiences including arts & crafts, sports, cooking, gaming, and just relaxing with friends in a safe and welcoming environment. Plus, a delicious lunch is included every day! These sessions are provided free of charge. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please select the 'Entry' ticket if your child is not eligible for free school meals or the 'HAF eligible' ticket if they are. The booking system asks you to choose a criteria which applies to your young person (e.g., SEND, young carer, low income household) but, if none of these apply to you, please select 'other'. Claygate Youth and Community Hub
A safe, supportive and fun space for youth
Claygate Youth and Community Hub offers fun youth activities and support to all young people aged 11-19. We provide a safe and welcoming space for young people to socialise, learn new skills, and get support and advice when needed. Our services include Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday youth nights, as well as holiday clubs for 11-16s. Our hall and outside space are also available for community hire, with proceeds funding our youth work.
Dates and Activities
Monday 28th June - Pounds in Bounds Gameshow Join us for Pounds in Bounds, an interactive gameshow all about money! Delivered in collaboration with NatWest Thrive and Citizens Advice West Elmbridge, this lively event is designed to build financial confidence in a fun, engaging way. Natwest Thrive is a movement designed to instill confidence and goal-setting skills, inspire young people to chase their dreams and encourage the development of good money habits. It has been developed by specialist youth workers at the National Youth Agency. Monday 4th August - Spanish Restaurant A day where The Hub is transformed into our very own Spanish restaurant! Eat some delicious food, get waited on by Hub helpers, and expand your culinary horizons... Monday 11th August - Circus Skills Step right up and discover the magic of the circus! In this fun-filled workshop, you’ll get hands-on experience with juggling, plate-spinning, and a variety of other exciting circus skills. During all these sessions, there is also arts and crafts, gaming, sports, cooking and baking and time to chill out with friends. A free lunch is also included.
