What we'll do
Join us for lots of fun in nature with Snape Woods. These sessions will take place at Ingram Allotments, off Crowhurst Lane, Sidley. We will meet at the gate beside the playpark. This is also where you should collect your child at the end of the session. Build shelters, learn survival skills, take part in constructing a greenhouse, learn all about planting and growing vegetables, and lots more! Lunch and snacks will be provided. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting MUDDY and bring a coat in case of rain! We will be learning how to set a fire, using a fire pit, cooking on the fire, arts and crafts and more! This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Free places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.
