What we'll do
We will be heading off by coach to Preston Park. On arrival young people will be busy exploring the museum including finding out about the history of the local area, the Victorian street, interactive displays and more. We will also enjoy the large park, with things to climb, swing on, jump around and more. For lunch we will gather for a picnic and there will also be some quieter craft activities if it's all a bit too busy. Young people will be in small groups with a named adult, they will be their 'go to' for the day. This enables us to provide support where needed and ensure that children get a valued experience. The visit includes: Tour of the Museum with interactive activities Large Play area Team games and challenges Walk around the grounds Pincic Coach travel, along with a picnic lunch is provided for all young people.

Pioneer Pastor
I am the Pioneer Pastor for Hope Church, a lively Methodist Church based in Loftus. I am also a secondary school teacher, with 25 years experience, of teaching a range of humanities subjects including Geography and RE. In my spare time, I am a qualified netball coach and coach nearby Grangetown Netball Club in their under 16s and under 19s sections. I have been a Guide leader for almost 30 years, and have a range of experience from this in the outdoors, learning new skills and camping and more. I love seeing children and young people learn new skills, feel supported, at home, and loving the activities we put on. I enjoy demonstrating the love of Christ in what I do, and sharing my faith. I can't wait to be part of these events, and have the joy of leading a great team delivering high quality activities to local children and young people.
