Our Homeschool Club offers a unique, hands-on learning experience tailored for homeschooling families. This program combines education with the joys of farm life, providing children with the opportunity to learn about nature, agriculture, and animal care in an interactive and engaging environment. Each week, students will participate in a variety of farm-based activities, from tending to the gardens and feeding the animals to exploring nature. Our sessions encourage curiosity, teamwork, and practical skills, all while enjoying the great outdoors. Please note, parents and carers are expected to stay for this session.

About your mentors
The Woad Farm Project
Getting young people outside with animals!
The Woad Farm Project is a not-for-profit farm, set up to support the wellbeing of children and young people in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. We have a particular focus on looked after or care-experienced children, but are driven by the opportunity to share the benefits of animals, nature and the outdoors to all children. Sessions leaders are fully DBS checked and First Aid trained too.
Sarah Lotz
Session leader
I love being outdoors and enjoying quiet spaces. I'm all about following children's lead and nurturing they're natural curiosity. Animals are my happy place and I adore rescuing them and being with them.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours before the start to receive a full refund. We are generous with our rescheduling and cancelling policy although it remains at management’s discretion. Please help us by giving at least 48 hours notice by email or phone. We are an all-weather facility and cannot refund or reschedule due to wet weather but are happy to help if you are prevented from using your session due to illness or accident. We do not refund if you do not turn up and then contact us later as we will have arranged staff for your session. Cancelling less than 48 hours before booking or no-show, we are unable to refund your money in this situation, nor offer you another visit. Prior to this time frame, we can look to rearrange your session at the management’s discretion.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
