A summary
The Vench Holiday Lunch Club is back and ready for another action-packed holiday full of fun, creativity, adventure, and delicious food. We know school holidays can be an exciting time for children but can also bring extra pressure for families, which is why we are proud to provide a welcoming space where children can stay active, make friends, enjoy healthy meals, and create lasting memories. Children who receive free school meals can attend and receive a free nutritious lunch as part of the programme. For children who are not eligible for free school meals, we ask for a suggested donation of £2.50 per child, helping us continue providing these opportunities and supporting local families. **You only need to book a place if your child receives benefits related free school meals. If they don't, just turn up. Easy!** There is something for everyone at The Vench Holiday Lunch Club, with an exciting range of activities taking place throughout the holidays. Whether your child loves being creative, active, or trying something new, there will always be plenty to get involved in. Our arts and crafts sessions give children the chance to get messy, use their imagination, and create fantastic things to take home. Sports and games provide opportunities to run, play, and burn off energy while making new friends and building confidence. Our popular cooking activities allow children to get hands-on in the kitchen, learning new skills while creating tasty dishes and snacks to enjoy. We also work with a range of amazing external providers who bring specialist workshops and exciting experiences to the programme. Children may get the chance to try DJ workshops where they can learn to mix tracks and create beats, or take part in graffiti workshops, exploring street art styles and expressing themselves creatively in a fun and safe environment. We are always looking to provide new experiences that inspire young people and encourage them to discover new interests. Children under the age of 8 are welcome to attend; however, spaces for under 8s are limited. Parents and carers must supervise children under 8 at all times while on site. Please note that due to capacity and safety limits, we may not be able to admit additional under 8s if the programme reaches capacity. The Vench Holiday Lunch Club is all about fun, community, and making the holidays memorable. We cannot wait to welcome everyone for another fantastic holiday filled with adventure, laughter, and great experiences. Join us and be part of the fun!

For over 50 years, we’ve been inspiring imaginative play in a supportive and fun environment to help Lockleaze children and young people live happy and healthy lives. We believe in the importance of providing our local young people and their families with a safe place to play, learn and create the change they want to see in the world. Working with our partners we offer a range of activities and experiences to build resilience and confidence in the young people, families and the wider community.
