What we'll do
Join us for food-inspired fun! We will be using our ingredients to inspire our creative activities - play with clay, drawing, telling stories, and then prepare a meal for your family. We encourage everyone to bring their imagination! Parents/Carers can drop off children in Years 1 - 6. Parents/Carers are welcome to stay and support children who may be a little unfamiliar with the setting. Parents/carers are welcome to return and eat with us or bring a takeaway container to take the meal home. We are based at the Wellspring Settlement and there are pictures of our studio, where our sessions take place in the gallery section. Please contact us if you have any questions at all. A social story is available which details how to find us and the sorts of activities we will be doing, please get in touch if you would like a copy of this sent to you.

Food and Play for Families
Travelling Light creates outstanding theatre with and for young people that inspires their thinking, engages their emotions and fires their imaginations. We create award winning professional productions for young audiences and manage a thriving participation programme for children and young people aged 7-25. Our participation programme offers creative experiences to children and young people in Barton Hill and across Bristol. We believe in every child’s entitlement to creativity and imagination and proactively engage with children and young people who would otherwise have little or no access to arts and cultural activities.

Application process
We have a number of free spaces for those in receipt of free school meals (eligibility checks will be carried out prior to confirming bookings).

How to find us
We are based in the Wellspring Settlement in Barton Hill. Please go down the ramp to the left-hand side of the steps up to reception, through the 2 doors in front of you and that will bring you into the studio. There is no dedicated parking on site so you have to park in the surrounding streets or in the car park on Ducie Road - free for up to 3 hours.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience is an educational activity and the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.
