What we'll do
Unlock your creativity and inner artist at the HAF programme this winter, in partnership with Bromley Council and funded by the Department for Education. Where: Bromley Central Library When: 9:30 to 13:30 The programme is free for children and young people who are in receipt of benefit related free school meals or in Bromley as a refugee. Proof of such benefits may be required upon booking. Our “A Creative Christmas and New Year of Dreams” programme offers children a joyful opportunity to explore creative industries through festive, hands-on workshops. As part of our Career Explorer series, children will take part in themed sessions each day, developing their imagination, teamwork, and design skills. Day 1 - Little Architect: Winter Village Builder Day 2 - Little Fashion Designer: Festive Fashion Studio Day 3 - Little Graphic Designer: Season’s Greetings Studio Day 4 - Little Comic Artist: Holiday Tales & New Beginnings To fuel both body and mind, each day includes a healthy lunch and a fun exercise session, helping participants stay energised and focused as they bring their ideas to life. They will also learn about the nutritional aspect of the food they eat, whilst enjoying a free nutritious meal each day. Please note: As part of the daily activities, we will be taking children to the nearby park for outdoor art observation sessions and light physical exercise or group games, supervised by our staff at all times. This allows participants to stay active and gain inspiration from nature in a safe and engaging environment.
