A summary
Indoor rounders, mixed genders. No experience necessary. We do have to pay to hire the venue, so if you can afford to pay to play then that helps us keep rounders going longer term. It’s the price of a pint/coffee! There’s also an option to block book - £50 for 12 sessions. If you’d like to go for this option then choose the block booking option, and we’ll email you the payment details. If you really can’t afford to pay, then please choose the free ticket option. We would rather you played. Not played since school? No problem. We range in age from 18 to 60+ and we don't take rounders too seriously. Join our Facebook group + page Hastings Rounders for more. We are trialling Horntye Sports Complex, it has a bar for afterwards. Free on parking. Go through the gates and keep driving. We also play Tuesdays at SLAcademy, Saturdays in Alexandra Park, and Wednesdays in Bexhill. Some games are mixed (all genders), Tuesdays are women only. We have all the kit, so just sign up and turn up. We suggest you wear long trousers and long sleeves but it's up to you. Bring water. We can lend you kneepads. Get a bit fitter and learn more about rounders and our community. We need you to be insured if you play with us regularly. You can try it for free 3 times and be insured. But after that (when you have the inevitable bug!) we ask you for a £10 or £7 annual contribution towards insurance. £10 means you are subbing someone who can't afford to pay. We take photos and video at our games and share on social - if you don't want to be included let us know. You can always take the squad photo for us! Can't get to Horntye? Don't let that stop you. Hastings Rounders was established in 2022 to further the accessibility of the sport of rounders, particularly amongst women of all ages, ethnicities, beliefs, sexualities, abilities and incomes, in the area of Hastings, East Sussex. We now play in St. Leonard's and Bexhill. Our values are community, equality and joy through rounders. We endeavour to safeguard our players’ wellbeing and to promote the sport of rounders to more members of our community. You can attend an event free, and be insured for three games without giving us your details and still be covered by our insurance. So come on...

Insurance
Local halls require that all players are covered by team insurance. Under our insurance you can play up to 3 times and be covered automatically. After that we need some info from you, and ideally a £10 annual donation which subsidises another player, or a £7 donation which covers your own cost. You can pay direct to Hastings Rounders 30 99 50 a/c 3112 5560 and mark with your name. If you can't pay we still want you to play so contact us, we have some funding from Sport England/ The Together Fund. Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.If you pay, cancel with 48 hours to go before the event for a full refund.
