A summary
Happiest at Home is a nationwide company, we specialise in matching dedicated support workers to clients, meeting to all requirements and needs. We find out exactly what the client is needing in their support worker i.e., experience, timetable, personality, activities etc. With this information we go through a matching process, where we present you with relevant profiles of these individuals, with their photos, a bit about their personal life and who they are and their work experience. Then we arrange a meet and greet,via teams, with the selected profile and if all goes well the support starts from there. CarePals provide support in schools, day-centres, activity groups and in the home. We like to make sure we are as thorough as possible when matching the individual, to make sure the client is happy and has a good relationship with the support worker. We pay our support workers one of the highest rates in the UK, so they are always with us long-term. They are of course fully DBS, background checked and insured. We use an app which is GPS located with their timetable, so we make sure everything is running smoothly and invoicing is accurate. We will also replace or add any support workers to the team if ever needed, free of charge. To start the process with us, just call or email us to arrange an appointment with a member of our account management team. We will then appoint a dedicated account manager to you, who you will always deal with to manage your CarePal matching process. Then we send over the relevant paperwork, once we get this sent back us we can start the matching process.

We support children and young people of all ages with hundreds of different medical conditions. Our care services can allow you to have the same CarePal take you or your child to an activity of your choice and provide 1:1 support whilst you attend. But it doesn't end there, after completing the activity and wearing yourself out your dedicated CarePal can take you home and provide additional support with the exhausting domestic bits or the chaotic bedtime routine.

- How do I pay for my care? If your care is funded by the local authority we communicate with your contacts on your behalf to arrange payment for you. Should you need to contribute and top up this also can be accommodated. - What if I don't like my CarePal? We offer a free of charge replacement service to ensure that should you be unhappy with your CarePal you will be able to find the perfect match for you. The same process applies if you require more support and need another CarePal in the team. - Are your CarePal's background checked? All of our CarePals are thoroughly vetted to ensure compliance with our policies and the safety of our clients. These background checks include 100% clean DBS checks, liability insurance, GPS location and PAYE management. - How long does the process take to find me the perfect match? The process can take up to two weeks to find the CarePal just for you depending on your availability. - Are there any upfront costs? We do not charge any upfront costs and you will never need to physically or electronically pay your CarePal as we manage their pay.

Cancellation Policy
As Happiest at Home support staff are allocated to our clients on a 1:1 basis. In order to ensure they have a regular income from their work we would appreciate as much notice as possible for any holidays or respite planned. A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice is required for care cancellations. Should you be admitted to hospital, go into respite, or take any holidays and wish to guarantee your support is available for your return, then we can do so on a paid basis. This ensures that your CarePal remains committed to you, and the package is kept open.

My experience is an educational activity and the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.
