A summary

These sessions are specially designed to support children and young people
with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), aged 5 years and up.

The focus is on enjoyment, movement and participation, in a relaxed and
welcoming environment where everyone can take part at their own pace.

There will be different sports/activities to choose from depending on the day
ranging from Archery to Basketball, New age curling to Golf, plus an arts
& crafts table and soft play area.

The whole family is welcome to join in. Parents/carers must stay and are
encouraged to take part, helping to create a supportive, inclusive and positive
experience for everyone.

No pressure, no competition – just movement, smiles and fun.

Suitable for SEND Children and Young Adults aged 5 - 25years.

Learning aims

Aim 1

Children improve balance, coordination and body control, gaining confidence in jumping, landing and understanding how their body moves safely.

Aim 2

Children build confidence and learn to regulate emotions by recognising comfort levels, using movement to feel calm and manage feelings effectively.

Aim 3

Children learn to take turns, share space and communicate needs, building social skills and confidence in cooperative play with others
