A summary
SCDA's summer HAF programme will be serving up a variety of different activities both indoors and out to enjoy the summer season.
Monday 27 July will be Arts and Crafts at Denton Island Community Centre
Tuesday 28 July we will be learning Circus Skills at Denton Island Youth Centre
Wednesday 29 July we will be Bike Riding in Big Park, Peacehaven. Qualified instructors will teach all levels including basic skills, advanced skills and tricks. Bikes and helmets are provided.
Please drop off at Big Park
Thursday 30 July we will be based at Denton Island with Foody activities and the Smoothie Bike
Monday 3 August we will be meeting some animals at Denton Island Community Centre with Jaws and Claws!
Tuesday 4 August we will be drumming at Denton Island Youth Centre
Wednesday 5 August we will be based at Southdowns Forest School in Iford. Transport will be provided or you can drop off at Forest School
***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***
