A summary
New to the Gym? If you’re a newcomer to the gym, we realise it can be a rather intimidating place. That’s why we always have friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to help with any queries you may have. It’s also important that, before you sign up, you speak to your doctor and make sure they give you the all-clear to take on extra exercise like this. Inductions Before you start, Junior members need to complete an induction. The induction will be lead by a qualified fitness instructor who will show you how to safely use the equipment and what to avoid. Once complete, you will have access to use the gym during specified hours. This helps keep our junior members safe and get the most from their workouts. Furthermore, there are always Everyone Active colleagues available if you’re struggling to work any of the kit out! We then either swim before the session or after the gym, lifeguards will be on hand to supervise the session and inform you of any rules you need to know. Non Swimmers are advised to stay before the non swimmer mark. We are able to lend out floats for swimmers who wish to use one. Be sure to bring the following items with you: - Swimwear https://www.everyoneactive.com/legal-policies/swimwear-policy/ - Towel - Goggles - Gym Wear - Water Bottle to refill - £1 or trolley token for the lockers A meal deal from the Co-op will be provided on the day. Water is available throughout the day.
