What we'll do
We explore the natural world, through fun, engaging outdoor activities that spark curiosity. Part of this session will be spent in nature (weather dependent), using and exploring natural materials. Whether it's a Christmas nature hunt, treasure trial or food around the forest fire we will make the most of the wonders of winter. The group will then get the opportunity to prepare and cook their own simple, healthy lunch, followed by Christmas crafts and games.

Promoting hands-on learning through a love of nature
Nurturing confidence and boosting self esteem, for children beyond the classroom. Through outdoor activities, games, crafts, and storytelling, Jess and Em help children develop a sense of appreciation for the natural world and promote the importance of their place in it. Jess is a qualified primary school teacher and Em is an established children's nature club provider.
FAQs
Can I stay in the group with my child? This is a drop and go group only. Parents are not permitted to stay for the session. Is there parking on site? Yes. You will find us at: Caplor Farm, Fownhope, Herefordshire, HR1 4PT. Just 1.5 miles outside of Fownhope, Caplor Farm is easy to find and accessible by car or a short walk from the local village. From the main road you will see the sign for Caplor Glamping. Turn to come up the drive and take the first left into the car park, where one of us will be waiting and ready to meet you. What does my child need to attend? Your child will need weather appropriate clothing for the outdoor activities. This includes warm layers, waterproofs and wellies. Please dress them in clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Food is provided but please also pack a water bottle. What happens if I need to cancel a session? You can cancel a session through the web application booking page. If you know you are unable to attend a booked session, please cancel at your earliest convenience so this place can be offered out to another child.
