What we'll doBUGSY MALONE SUMMER SCHOOL
Join us this summer for a spectacular two-week Summer School inspired by the much-loved musical 'Bugsy Malone'!
Bursting with creativity, music, laughter, and fun, participants will enjoy dynamic workshops in Drama, Dance, Singing, and Art, all led by experienced theatre professionals. Over the two weeks, everyone will work together towards an exciting final performance of 'Bugsy Malone', staged in a theatre for family and friends on the last day.
Workshops are thoughtfully tailored to different age groups. Older students are encouraged to develop new performance, teamwork, and social skills while gaining a real taste of being involved in a live theatre production. Younger children enjoy a nurturing environment with longer breaks, creative games, and the freedom to learn and create at their own pace.
Every activity is designed to build confidence, spark imagination, and encourage self-expression. Participants are actively involved in the creative process, helping shape ideas, scenes, and performances along the way.
Our friendly and passionate team has more than twenty years’ experience working with children and young people in and around Lewes. All children are fully supervised throughout the day, and every teacher holds Enhanced DBS certification and first aid training.
These popular workshops fill quickly, so early booking is strongly recommended.
HAF-funded places are currently available. If all HAF places have been allocated, we will be happy to place your child on the waiting list.

Arrival & Drop Off
Please wait in the quadrangle outside the entrance to the Performing Arts Building at 10am, when we will welcome the children in.
We kindly ask that you do not arrive much earlier than 10am, as staff will still be setting up workshop spaces.
Parents and carers will say goodbye at the entrance. Due to safeguarding and child protection procedures, adults will not be able to enter the venue, so please prepare your child for this in advance.
Please make every effort to arrive on time so we can begin activities promptly.
If you arrive late, the front doors will be locked for safeguarding reasons. Please text or call Deirdre on 07963 478 393, and someone will come to the main entrance to let your child in.
