A summary
Leisure Community Trust and Serco Leisure proudly extended their successful Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme to Warsop Health Hub for the first time last year, building on the strong foundation established at Oak Tree Leisure Centre. Running from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the programme offers children aged 5 to 11 a free, fun-filled day that includes a healthy lunch and a wide variety of engaging activities designed to support wellbeing, creativity, and social development. Children enjoy: -Sports and active play, both indoors and outdoors -Arts and crafts, puzzles, and interactive games -Specialist sessions delivered by partners such as Mansfield Palace Theatre, offering drama and performance workshops, and Mansfield District Council, providing fun and educational nutrition activities In addition to free HAF places, a limited number of paid spaces are available for children who are not eligible for the scheme. This programme is a fantastic opportunity for children to stay active, get creative, and make new friends in a safe and supportive environment.
