What we'll do
Welcome and Introduction Itinerary of the day We will run through all our Health and safety, so everyone taking part is doing so safely - this will be child friendly. We will then have some fun warm up games, dancing. We will then cover all mobility exercises, fundamental challenges, and skills. Next will be a growth mindset session - this will be age appropriate and helps with mental health. Coaches will encourage goal settings. We will also have colouring and sticker pictures for those that just want to sit out and do some other activities. Lunch - Jacket potatoes curry and rice, health snacks. Nutrition session E.g Naming fruit and Veg Exploring recipes Eat well guide Fun pulse raising activity Team work focus games Floor work including hand held apparatus Rebound work on trampoline Cool Down Review Conclude session

The Wire Gymnastics Club
Every Child is a Champion
Over the last 15 years The Wire has become a state of the art facility and is one of the most equipped clubs in the North West. The club consists of 2 full size trampolines, 2 foam pits and multiple pieces of equipment including bars, beams, floor areas, vaults and rings. The facility allows us to cater for both boys and girls giving them a positive experience in a fantastic facility. All equipment is provided through Gymnova, official British Gymnastics partner, ensuring it meets all safety standards. This also includes annual services and continual improvement of equipment
Dress requirment
T-shirts, leggings or shorts. If long hair - this must be tied back No earrings or necklaces as these can get caught in equipment
Learning aims
Aim 1
To learn and practise fundamental skills - for example - balancing, running, jumping - all these skills are required in physical development in a child.
Aim 2
To help understand the importance of nutrition and exercise for mental health
