What we'll do
At Grow Wakefield Forest school, everyday is and adventure that begins and ends in the warmth of our forest school circle. We gather around the campfire to start our morning and return to it each afternoon to reflect our discoveries. Throughout the day children will take part in team games that build community and confidence in the outdoors. A key part of our journey is the wild passport programme; whether your child is a beginner or advanced learner, they will work through hands-on challenges to master new skills and earn their badges. It is the ultimate way to spend a holiday -learning, playing and growing together under trees. Highlights of our day: The campfire hub: Our holiday ritual for connection and story telling. Wild passport: Structured skill building for beginners and advanced learners including fire skills, woodcraft and tool use, shelter building, knots and ropes, ecology and nature discovery. Daily lunch: A hot lunch will be provided daily from local Café The flamingos Teapot.
