What we'll do
Girls Journeying Together groups offer a year of in-person monthly support for preteen girls as they practise being true to themselves, learn about puberty, share their hopes and fears, and help each other into their teens. Girls gather for a fun, creative workshop once a month (term time) for a year. Each session is specifically designed to meet the needs of girls at this stage of their life. Topics include friendship, peer pressure, puberty, body image, beauty standards, managing emotions, self care, social media challenges, dreams for the future, mentors, and anything else that the girls wish to discuss. At the same time the mothers meet to form a community of support for one another at this pivotal stage of parenting. The group supports girls as they enter adolescence and (if they go to school) to make the transition into secondary school. We support girls to emerge from adolescence stronger than they went in, working to prevent the high rates of anxiety, self-harm and low esteem. Girls Journeying Together groups help girls enter their teens feeling self-assured and supported. To find out more please visit our website: https://www.ritesforgirls.com/girls-journeying-together/

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else. Once a girl decides to join Girls Journeying Together there is a single payment for the year, which can be paid in monthly instalments. We are able to offer fully funded places to families in receipt of a range of benefits, so please enquire for further details.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
