What we'll do
A fun, active outdoor challenge where children navigate a garden style obstacle course at their own paA fun, active outdoor challenge where children navigate a garden‑style obstacle course at their own pace, building confidence through movement and playful exploration. The course is designed with a mix of balance paths, stepping spots, gentle climbs and imaginative challenges that encourage coordination, problem‑solving and resilience. Children choose how to approach each section, supported by calm guidance and plenty of positive encouragement, making the experience accessible for all abilities. The session blends physical activity with creativity and outdoor enjoyment, giving every child the chance to feel capable, energised and proud of what they can achieve in a relaxed, supportive environment.ce. The session builds confidence, coordination and resilience through playful movement and gentle encouragement.

Every child is unique and valued
We are the only childcare provider for primary school aged children in Lawrence Weston - one of Bristol’s most deprived communities. As a grassroots organisation with 30 years of continuous local presence, and with staff, volunteers, and Trustees living in the area, we have a deep understanding of the challenges facing families experiencing poverty, crisis, and long term disadvantage. Our after school and holiday childcare enables parents to work, train, and stabilise their lives, while providing safe, structured, and nurturing spaces for children who would otherwise be at high risk of criminal exploitation, anti social behaviour, and social isolation. We also offer supported and funded placements for children with additional behavioural, learning, or medical needs, with referrals from schools, SENCOs, Family Support Workers, and Children’s Services. We are a child led, inclusive organisation, adapting activities to each child’s culture, age, ability, and needs. Our aim is to build confidence, wellbeing, and belonging, while promoting equality and opportunity for all.
