A summary
Title: Crystal Academy Summer Skills Programme. Summary: Develop strength, skills and confidence in acrobatics and dance technique. Description: Crystal Academy's Summer Skills Programme is a fun and engaging series of technical training sessions designed for children and young people who want to develop their dance, acrobatics and aerial skills over the summer holidays. Delivered by experienced instructors in a safe and supportive environment, each session focuses on building strength, flexibility, coordination and confidence through structured activities tailored to individual ability levels. Participants will have the opportunity to work on acrobatics skills such as handstands, cartwheels, walkovers and limbers, alongside aerial hoop techniques, dance development and performance-based activities. The programme is designed to encourage personal achievement, resilience and teamwork while helping young people stay active and engaged during the school holidays. Whether participants are completely new to the activities or already have experience, sessions will be adapted to support progression and celebrate success. Refreshments and light snacks will be available throughout each session, and our team will ensure every child feels welcomed, supported and encouraged to achieve their personal best. Funded and paid places are available, helping to ensure the programme remains accessible to families across the local community.

Our Summer Skills Programme is open to all children and young people, regardless of whether they currently attend Crystal Academy. Existing members and non-members are equally welcome. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive organisation where every participant is treated with respect and encouraged to achieve their individual potential. However, this programme is designed as a technical skills intensive rather than a specialist SEN provision. Activities are structured to challenge participants, promote progression and develop new skills within a group environment. Sessions will be differentiated to accommodate a range of abilities, from beginners through to experienced dancers and acrobats, but participants should be comfortable engaging in physical activity, following instruction and working independently within a class setting. Our focus is on helping every child build confidence, resilience and technical ability while enjoying a positive and supportive training environment.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
