Children can take part in a 30 minute Axe Throwing session.
This session will take place at Stowmarket Recreation Ground on 28th July 2025
10am - 2pm (book a 30 minute slot)
Children must be aged 8-16 years
All participants will be eligible for a free lunch tick the correct box to be contacted during the booking process. Limited tickets available, booking on a first come first served basis.
Free sessions for HAF eligible children, all booking will go through a verification process. Check your EEQU account regularly.

If it is raining will the session still go ahead?
Yes – all of the activities are completely safe in the rain. If we are due bad weather, please bring waterproof clothes, wellies and warm layers and we will carry on regardless.
BEHAVIOUR STATEMENT
You and your child are expected to read this code of conduct together in order to help your child behave appropriately while at the Explore Outdoor session. You are expected to sign the form stating your acceptance and understanding of it.
Children are expected to behave appropriately and promote a safe, fun and healthy environment through productive participation. The staff will use a positive approach to discipline and will seek parental support to resolve behavioural issues if need be. Children who remain disruptive may be dismissed from the programme.
Please go through the code of conduct with your child so that he/she fully understands the expectations.
As a child on the Explore Outdoor session, I will:
Show respect to other children and treat them as well as I would like to be treated.
Know the rules of the session and follow them.
Respect the rights and beliefs of others, and treat others with courtesy and consideration.
Communicate in an appropriate manner which means I must not use foul language or gestures, harsh words or tone of voice.
Control my temper
Conduct myself responsibly. I understand that unwelcome teasing, messing around or other unkind behaviours are not allowed.
Refrain from deliberately causing bodily harm to the children or staff. I understand that pushing, kicking, hitting, or fighting are not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
Use the equipment and facilities properly.
Respect the property of others.
Be fully responsible for my actions and understand that irresponsible behaviour will result in disciplinary action.
I understand and accept the code of conduct. I will listen and follow the instructors’ directions the first time of asking and display sportsmanship and fair play at all times. I understand I will automatically be removed from the session for unacceptable behaviour.
PHOTOGRAPHY STATEMENT
By ticking "yes" I agree to the use of photograph (s)/digital image (s) of the above named participants for use in news releases, Abbeycroft Leisure publications, and public places. I understand that these materials might include printed or electronic publications, websites, social media or other electronic communications. I further agree that above names and identity may be revealed in descriptive text or commentary in connection with the image (s)/film (s). I authorise the use of these images without compensation to me. All negatives, prints, digital reproductions shall be the property of Abbeycroft Leisure. -This consent form is valid for five years. We will not use the photographs/filming for any other purposes than those mentioned above in this form. Images may be shared with direct delivery partners for the programme you are attending. We will not include personal details (such as postal address or telephone number) on any of our marketing/promotional materials.
