A summary
This inclusive cooking experience is designed to support young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in developing life skills through hands-on culinary activities. Participants explore simple, sensory-friendly recipes in a supportive environment tailored to individual needs. The sessions focus on building confidence, independence, and communication through tasks like measuring, mixing, and tasting. Visual aids, step-by-step instructions, and adaptive tools ensure accessibility for all abilities. The experience encourages creativity, teamwork, and healthy eating habits, while also providing a fun and rewarding way to learn practical skills that can be used at home and beyond.
