A summary
Forest Wellbeing for Neurodiverse Children Our Forest Wellbeing for Neurodiverse Children sessions provide a nurturing, nature-based experience designed to support children. Taking place in the beautiful woodlands of The Laudato Si' Centre, Wardley, Worsley, this short break programme offers a unique opportunity for neurodiverse children to engage in outdoor learning and play while parents receive dedicated self-care time. These sessions are open to children aged 5-15 years, including those with autism, ADHD, or other neurodivergent traits, whether formally diagnosed or not. The programme creates a safe, sensory-friendly environment that allows children to explore, connect with nature, and develop social and emotional skills through forest school-led activities. These include wood carving, nature print-making, campfire cooking, and problem-solving games. A sensory exploration area with hammocks and swings provides a calm retreat for those needing downtime.
