A summary
At our Forest School holiday club, children spend their day outdoors in our woodland site, with the freedom to choose how they play and explore. They might start the morning: - warming up around the fire circle - helping to light a campfire - make hot chocolate, or toast marshmallows Throughout the day children can: - build dens using tarps and ropes - climb and balance on logs - whittle sticks with a peeler under close supervision - create woodland art using clay, leaves, charcoal, and natural dyes. There are opportunities for: - nature crafts - bug hunting - tree climbing - hammock swinging - mud kitchens - imaginative role play - calm spaces to relax with books or quiet games. Small group games like hide and seek, capture the flag, or woodland obstacle courses run alongside quieter activities, so children can dip in and out at their own pace. Our experienced staff support children gently, offering structure when needed while allowing curiosity, confidence, and friendships to grow naturally in a safe, inclusive environment. This Easter we have sessions running from our main site 'Rainbow Woods' and another location for children over 8 years old which will be more focused on Bushcraft Skills. Drop off & pick up is located just a few minutes up the road at 'Pikes Pool Lane Scout Centre'. Both sites are a short walk from each other and will join together at some point during the day.
