A summary
School’s out—fun is in! Our Holiday Club at the Leisure Centre is bursting with sporty games, life-skills (such as first-aid and water safety), and pool-based fun and games! This is the perfect place for your child to let off some energy, learn new skills and make new friends over the half term! A healthy lunch and snack will be provided for your child each day. Awards and prizes to up for grabs at each session! Under 11's must be dropped off & collected by a parent or guardian. 11-13yr olds can arrive and leave by themselves if prior consent has been provided. Your child will need to arrive with: - Appropriate attire for sports activities (trainers, comfortable clothing) - Water bottle - Swimwear - Towel

What will the day include?
Each day will include a range of structured sports, games and engaging activities. This will be followed by a life-skills session, covering topics such as basic first aid, and healthy eating. After lunch, the children will enjoy a blend of learning and play in the swimming pool led by our qualified swimming instructors, with a particular focus on water safety awareness.
Learning aims
Aim 1
Water Safety and Drown Prevention Education - by the end of each session, each child should have a better awareness of how to stay safe in and around water.
Aim 3
Healthy Eating - We aim to provide each child with a better understanding of how to make healthy food choices.
Aim 2
First Aid - We aim to teach basic first-aid skills to each child who attends our sessions.
Aim 4
Team Work Skills - through the games and activities we will provide, each child will have the opportunity to develop their team-work skills.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.We operate on a 'three strikes' policy for cancellations. If there have been three cancellations during the same holiday period, you will unfortunately be unable to rebook a place for your child.
