A summary
Due to the popularity of these trips, we will only be permitting one trip per family so please only book onto your preferred option. We have included an additional question so you can note if you will be using the bus or making your own travel arrangements. The preference is that you use the bus as it is a great opportunity to visit the hub and see what it can offer your family. You can only access Walby when the bus arrives as staff will hold tickets. The only pick up and drop off point is the Family Hub. You will need to provide your own baby seats, all busses will have a three point belts. There will be space underneath the bus to store prams and buggies. The same bus will be used for pick up and drop off so items can be left on the bus at your own risk. The Offer ... We are offering families a free trip to Walby Farm A bus will leave the Family Hub at 10am - families who secure a place are invited to arrive at the hub for 930am to register, grab a snack, drink and have a wander around the Hub to see what the Hub is all about. There is limited free parking available at the hub or the mainstreet. A coach will take you to Walby Farm where you will have time to take part in the wide range of activities on offer. The bus will leave Walby Farm at around 3pm and bring you back to the Hub. Food - Children will be provided with a voucher for a meal at Walby Farm Park - please make staff at Walby aware of any dietary requirements. Booking a place All places must be booked through the booking system, children can only attend if accompanied by an adult. Any booking made without a responsible adult will be declined. If your child does not meet any of the eligibility criteria listed when booking, please select OTHER Two staff from the Hub will be also be attending but parents/carers are responsible for their own children. In the event you cannot attend, please make sure you cancel the place to make the place available for someone else. If you have any questions regarding the trip, please email HAF@cumberland.gov.uk

About your mentors
Cumberland Council
A welcoming space for families in Cumberland
A welcoming space for families and the wider community in Cumberland. A Family Hub is a place where families can access multiple services under one roof, a one-stop shop, aimed at improving their overall wellbeing and helping them navigate challenges they might be facing. Services will become more easily accessible by bringing them together in one location, often with flexible hours, so that families can receive support in one place rather than having to go to several different agencies or organisations. Family Hubs aim to strengthen families, help prevent problems before they arise, and provide families with the tools they need to thrive.

Farm Park Activities
Walby has a large undercover play area to ensure the fun never stops, rain or shine and provides endless entertainment for all ages. There are numerous outdoor play activities to explore including pedal go-karts, shoot & score and dig & play. Come and meet the animals in the animal Paddocks. The Animal Barn offers an opportunity to get even closer and there are demonstrations where you might even get the chance for a cuddle with one or two of our cuties, the rabbits and the guinea pigs.
