A summary
Family Cooking Summer Workshop Join us this August for our Family Cooking Summer Workshop, where one parent or guardian and one child will cook together each week, learning how to make delicious, healthy and budget-friendly meals at home. Over four Fridays in August, families will prepare a different recipe each week, helping children build confidence in the kitchen while spending quality time together. Every recipe is designed to be affordable, simple to recreate at home, and packed with practical cooking skills. Workshop Dates Friday 7th August 2026 Friday 14th August 2026 Friday 21st August 2026 Friday 28th August 2026 Session Times (choose one session each week) 10:00am – 11:00am 11:45am – 12:45pm 1:30pm – 2:30pm 3:15pm – 4:15pm Who Can Attend? 1 parent or guardian and 1 child. Suitable for children aged 5 years and over. Families will attend one session each Friday throughout the four-week programme. What to Expect A new budget-friendly recipe every week. Hands-on cooking activities. Simple recipes to recreate at home. Fun, engaging sessions that build confidence and practical cooking skills. An opportunity to spend quality time together while learning new skills. Eligibility This workshop is available to HAF eligible families only.

Our holiday club provision ranges in age from 5 years old right the way up to age 19, across several sites in Warrington, aiming to give young people a range of experiences to make every half term exciting.
