A summary
Join us for a delightful family activity at Yogurt Pots Childcare! We are excited to invite families to participate in a fun and creative event where we will be making egg suncatchers. This activity is designed to be enjoyable for all ages, and the best part is that it is completely free! Egg suncatchers are a wonderful craft that allows children to express their creativity while also learning about colors and light. Using simple materials like paper, glue, and colorful tissue paper, children will create beautiful suncatchers that can be hung in windows to catch the sunlight and brighten up any room. This activity is not only fun but also educational, as it helps children develop fine motor skills and understand the concept of light and color. We believe that family activities are a great way to bond and create lasting memories. At Yogurt Pots Childcare, we strive to provide opportunities for families to come together and enjoy quality time. Our egg suncatcher activity is designed to be inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of age or skill level. Whether you are a seasoned crafter or a beginner, you will find this activity enjoyable and rewarding. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, we kindly ask that children be accompanied by an adult. This not only ensures the safety of the children but also allows parents and guardians to join in the fun and assist their children with the craft. Working together on a creative project can be a wonderful bonding experience and can help strengthen the parent-child relationship. We are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all families. Our staff will be on hand to provide guidance and assistance throughout the activity, ensuring that everyone has a positive experience. We encourage families to bring their enthusiasm and creativity, and we look forward to seeing the beautiful egg suncatchers that will be created. So, mark your calendars and join us at Yogurt Pots Childcare for a fun-filled family activity. Whether you are looking for a way to spend quality time with your children or simply want to try your hand at a new craft, our egg suncatcher activity is the perfect opportunity. We can't wait to see you there and share in the joy of creating something beautiful together!

Inspiring communities together (Yogurt Pots )
We deliver opportunities for all
In 2011 a small group of community members came together to implement the delivery plan developed as part of the exit strategy for the New Deal for Communities Programme ( 2001 – 2011). With an annual Annuity from Salford City Council of £90,000 per year until 2047 the group had a small amount of financial security and again through the good management of the New Deal for Communities Programme office space was secured within the Innovation Forum until 2047 rent free. In 2014 the delivery group was ready to take the next step in becoming an independent Charity and taking on the roles of Trustees of a Charitable Incorporated Organisation Inspiring Communities Together. As part of the New Deal for Communities programme there was a close relationship with Lower Kersal Centre who ran Yogurt Pots child care provision from Lower Kersal Primary School. The provision relocated to Sports Village in 2015 as part of a city wide programme to provide additional space for primary school children. In December 2017 a merger took place between Inspiring Communities Together and Lower Kersal Centre and Yogurt Pots staff came across to work for Inspiring Communities Together. Since 2018 work has been ongoing to develop the current Children and Families offer as part of the Inspiring Communities Together portfolio of work to support local people within the neighbourhoods of Salford. The ‘Children and Families’ programme, previously known as ‘Start Well’, focuses on fostering strong, caring relationships and providing responsive support for all our families. Led by our Children and Families Programme Manager, our team ensures a nurturing environment that promotes the social and emotional well-being of children and contributes to a more caring and connected community.
