A summary

Our Easter HAF Programme is designed for children aged 8–11 to enjoy a fun, safe, and engaging holiday experience during the Easter break. The programme will offer a variety of exciting activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and physical activity. Children will take part in arts and crafts sessions, where they can create Easter and spring-themed projects, as well as music activities that allow them to explore rhythm, sound, and self-expression. There will also be sports and active games to help children stay active, build confidence, and develop teamwork skills. As a special highlight of the programme, we will also organise a trip day, giving children the opportunity to enjoy a new environment, try new experiences, and create lasting memories with their peers. Our Easter HAF programme aims to provide a positive, inclusive, and supportive space where children can learn new skills, make friends, and have fun during the school holidays.

Learning aims

Aim 1

Positive Holiday Experiences Children will benefit from a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where they can make friends, have fun, and enjoy meaningful activities during the school holidays.

Aim 3

Physical Health and Wellbeing Children will improve their physical fitness, coordination, and overall wellbeing through sports, active games, and outdoor activities that encourage healthy and active lifestyles.

Aim 5

Teamwork and Social Skills Children will build positive relationships, communication skills, and teamwork by participating in group activities and games that require cooperation and respect for others.

Aim 2

Confidence and Independence Children will gain confidence and independence by trying new activities, learning new skills, and taking part in a trip where they experience new environments.

Aim 4

Creativity and Self-Expression Children will develop their creativity by taking part in arts, crafts, and music activities, allowing them to explore new ideas, express themselves, and build confidence in their creative abilities.
