Easter Tech Fun: STEAM Sessions for Kids block mentored by Steam Academy CIC
What we'll do
Hands-on STEAM activities including coding, robotics, and creative challenges for children aged 7–14 during the Easter holidays. STEAM Academy CIC is excited to deliver a fun and engaging Easter holiday programme at Fenwick Community Hall, designed to inspire curiosity and build confidence through hands-on learning. Children will take part in coding activities, LEGO and STEM challenges, creative technology projects, and team-based problem-solving games in a safe and supportive environment. Our sessions are suitable for beginners and experienced learners alike, with activities adapted to different ages and abilities. Children will be encouraged to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths through play, creativity, and real-world challenges that promote critical thinking and collaboration.

Dates: 30th March, 31st March, 1st April & 2nd April Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm Daily Timetable (Example) 10:00 – 10:15 Welcome & ice-breaker activities 10:15 – 11:15 STEAM build & coding challenge 11:20 – 12:20 Outdoor sports & active games 12:30 – 1:00 Lunch 1:00 – 1:45 Creative tech / LEGO project 1:45 – 2:00 Showcase, reflection & tidy-up (Timetable may vary slightly depending on weather.) What to Bring Water bottle (essential for outdoor sports) Comfortable clothing Comfortable trainers or suitable outdoor shoes All learning equipment and materials are provided. Outdoor Activity Information Outdoor sports will take place in a supervised area and are designed to be inclusive, fun, and suitable for all abilities. Activities may be adapted depending on weather conditions to ensure children’s safety and comfort.

Eligibility criteria
Lambeth HAF-funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals and attend a school in Lambeth. (Please note, this is different to universal free school meals that are available to all school-aged children) Each child can book up to 4 sessions this spring with any provider.
