A summary
Join Sporting Chance for our Easter Holiday Camp at Staple Hill Primary School. We are open each day (930am - 330pm) for children aged 5-11 years (Year 1 to Year 6) from Tuesday 8th April to Wednesday 16th April We are offering holiday activities and food clubs in the school Easter holidays for children who live in South Gloucestershire. South Gloucestershire Council has commissioned us to provide free places for children who get benefits-related free school meals (not universal infant free school meals) through Department for Education (DfE) funding. Children attending who get benefits-related free school meals will be entitled to a free lunch. HEALTHY ME: As part of the programme we will be running daily health and nutrition workshops including activities such as; smoothie making, food prep activities, taste trials, and guess the fruit and veg! CREATE & EXPLORE SESSIONS: Our Create & Explore sessions are for those children who would like to choose an afternoon alternative to sport when booked into our holiday camps. Our Create & Explore sessions include activities such as - Outdoor Arts & Crafts, Den Building, Scavenger Hunts, And so much more! WELLNESS AREA: Our Wellness Area is a dedicated space where children can unwind, recharge, and focus on their mental, physical, and emotional well-being. The area offers a range of activities designed to promote mindfulness, relaxation, and self-care such as Lego therapy, art therapy and nature walks. It serves as a peaceful retreat for children to take a break from a busy camp schedule.

Started in 2011, we have a range of tailored services for primary schools, childcare providers, and parents.

It is of paramount importance that your children feel safe and welcome at Holiday Camps. We aim to provide an exciting schedule of events, together with a friendly and approachable team to ensure you and your children always feel well cared for each time you attend Holiday Sports Camps. All of our staff have undergone training in safeguarding children, emergency aid / paediatric first aid, and are enhanced DBS checked. Our onsite camp leader is also the designated safeguarding lead and main first aider.

Aim 1
Tuesday 8th April - Football Fantasticos Our football themed days offer players the chance to work on key skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting. We play lots of small-sided games, including 5-a-side and Futsal, to promote teamwork, and ensure everyone has fun!
Aim 3
Tuesday 15th April - Mini Olympics The Mini Olympics is an athletics-based day with competitions and challenges. It features a range of jumping, running, and throwing events to improve fitness and motivates children to achieve their Personal Bests!
Aim 2
Wednesday 9th April - Dodgeball & Invasion Games Our Dodgeball day is now combined with Invasion Games. An invasion game is used to describe any game where the objective is to attack the opposition's territory and score a goal or point. This includes sports such as Basketball, Netball, Tag Rugby, Handball, Capture the Flag and Tagging games.

Wednesday 16th April - Survival Skills The ever-popular survival days are jam packed full of exciting activities. The key skills include Den Building, Orienteering, Trust Games, Team Building Exercises, Jungle Gym, Scavenger Hunts, and Emergency First Aid.

LUNCH PROVISION: We have a set weekly menu for you to choose a meat option or vegetarian option. The menu is listed below. It is essential that if you would like to order lunch that you do so in the booking notes, listing your choices against each date your child(ren) is attending. Salad and sauces are available with each choice and will be served in a buffet style giving the children freedom of choice as to what they would like to have on their plate. Snacks will also be available throughout the day. Allergies / intolerances - please ensure you list any allergies in the menu choices when you book. Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours before the start to receive a full refund.For cancellation of a booking, Sporting Chance will require 48 hours notice prior to the activity start date for a full refund. If less than 48 hours notice is given, customers who cancel their booking will receive a full credit note in the form of a voucher and this will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
