What we'll do
**Important! We have SEND support for up to 50% of spaces each day due to staff / child ratio. If your child has SEND please make sure to book a SEND space as this ensures we can offer all children best support each day. *** If you child needs one on one support or you would like to attend with a child please email lara@pressplayfilms.co.uk. Our workshops Ever wanted to make your own animation? You have come to the right place! Our workshops teach children how to make short animations, including operating cameras, using animation software/ computers and recording sounds. We will also have a screening premiere with parents and siblings and children are sent their films to keep!

In addition to animation. Lucie from Feel Good Food provides 20 mins of fun nutritional cooking activities for children. Animation workshop choices - clay, paper, whiteboard or Lego. depending on the day! Cooking activities may include: Making edible gifts to share with loved ones. Children will be shown how to make healthy snacks and sweet treats to take home. After lunch, we head out for some games and a play in the playground/ park. Lucie from Feel Good Food provides a nutritious and yummy lunch each day. Allergies, intolerances and special diets can be catered for on request (vegetarian/ gluten/dairy-free options provided). We encourage children to book for 2 or 3 days to gain a good overview of animation and cookery skills. We limit spaces to up to 3 days per child to keep it fresh for them!  ***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***

Eligibility criteria
These guidelines are arranged by East Sussex County Council. Children can book into this course if they meet the following criteria: • In receipt of benefit related Free School Meals - Referred to Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) • Disabled, those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), those with other special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) or on the disability register. • Young Carers • Have a disabled sibling • Referred to the School Mental Health Teams • Gypsy, Roma & Traveller • Supported by “Family Focus”/“Troubled Families” services • Children in Need (CiN), children on a Child Protection Plan (CP) and Looked After Children (LAC) • Those with English as an Additional Language (EAL) • Ukrainian Guests or other refugee guests

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.Cancellations: Please let us know if for any reason your child/ children are unable to make it to the sessions so that we can offer the space to another family. The earlier the better, but minimum of 2 days notice. We are working hard to prepare a fantastic experience for you.
