A summary
As part of our Summer Reading Challenge theme, "Read to the Beat," we’re bringing stories to life through the power of sound and performance! Join Hull Truck Theatre to create your own stories based on music in this interactive drama session for families. You will work alongside a brilliant Hull Truck Theatre drama practitioner to explore and build a brand-new world created entirely from your family's unique ideas. Each lively session will be a fun mixture of games, collaborative storytelling, and creative writing! This playful and creative session is designed for the whole family to enjoy together, providing a safe, warm, and engaging environment where imagination and rhythm connect. For safety and due to limited space, we politely request that children are accompanied by only one adult to prevent crowding in the activity space. Please do not bring siblings to the event unless they have a pre-booked place.

We have 12 libraries across the city that provide a wide range of materials for loan, computers and internet access and a fantastic range of events and activities. We offer an excellent support service for schools and also have a home library service for those who are unable to get to a library. It’s free to join our libraries, as are most of its services and events. Everyone is welcome whether you live, work or study in Hull, or if you are a visitor.
