What we'll do
Step into the world of drama, creativity and imagination! ✨ Join our facilitator Hannah for a fun-filled day of drama games, improvisation and collaborative storytelling as we explore exciting ways to create original theatre together! Through energetic theatre games, creative challenges and devising activities, participants will build confidence, develop performance skills and learn how to create characters, scenes and stories from their own ideas. Along the way, they'll strengthen communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills while letting their imaginations run wild in a fun and supportive environment. Throughout the workshop, Hannah will encourage everyone to experiment, share ideas and discover new ways to express themselves through drama. Whether your child enjoys performing, loves being creative, or simply wants to build confidence and make new friends, there will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved. By the end of the day, participants will have worked together to devise their own original scenes, showcasing the creativity, teamwork and ideas they've developed throughout the workshop. This workshop is perfect for young people of all experience levels, whether they're stepping onto the stage for the first time or already have a passion for theatre. It's a fantastic opportunity to explore drama, grow in confidence and have lots of fun in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Come along, make new friends, build confidence and discover the exciting world of drama and devising! This workshop is free for children who receive free school meals, and is part of Suffolk County Council's HAF programme.
